Olympics

I am pretty excited about the Olympics this year. It starts this Friday and I will probrably be glued to the T.V. when it is on. I love watching all the events and seeing competition and rivals go at it. I especially enjoy the bobsledding, downhill skiing, speed skating, snowboarding and Hockey events. So pretty much anything dealing with speed or lots of airtime. I just hope it's not on at a weird time of day where I can't watch the stuff since its over in Italy. I also look forward to the Winter Olympics because I know in the same year the World Cup is happening and it's a double treat. With events like this the Super Bowl means little to my entertainment value. Question: What events if any do you like to watch in the Olympics?

One of my favorites is the short track with Apollo Ohno. And of course the figure skating, I like the pairs the best. My absolute favorite thing is just the family gathering around the old boob tube together and watching and commenting and just being together cheering for the USA. And of course the snacks you must have for the watching of the olpympics like chips 'n salsa, always a favorite with me. I do love the downhill and the guys that do all the aerobatics in the air, that is just something to see. Is that called freestyle? The ones I can do without is curling and cross-country. Like watching paint dry to me. Anyway, I am looking forward to watching it too, AJ.

I have watched some figure skating, and that is about it. I'm not much of a sports fan. ::shrug::

If you really want to see how a great team operates, you have to watch curling. The communication and the anticipation...oh its just great. Of course I am not serious. I like watching the half pipe compatitions, skiing and snowboarding. Even though I am a boarder, I like watching skiing more. I can't believe how much air they get.
